At the end of February me and Trine decided to join the international students on their trip to Liverpool, seeing as we're both internationals.

so after fighting our way through the crowds at the museum and going by the support shop to buy some souvenirs we were finally out and on our way back to the city central.

we really wanted to make the most out of it when we were there so after eating we set out for the cathedral, we did get to do a fair bit of walking, but in the end it was worth is.. on the way we passed chinatown as well an of course we had to get some pictures.

After that we had a little less than two hours and about half an hour went by to get back down to the harbour, leaving us with just about an hour for the beatles museum, called the beatles story. we got this walkman thingy which played the info for us we just had to press the number we wanted to hear, so we managed to get through most of the exhibtion in that hour, before we headed back to the bus. pretty tired from a lot of walking, but in the end we managed to squeeze a lot of things into a thight schedule, i am well pleased and i'm definitely going back up to liverpool at some point.
None of us has ever been to liverpool before so we were quite excited, i mean liverpool is the home of liverpool football club, my dad and brother's fave team and the home of the beatles of course, with so much to see and only about 6 hours we were in a hurry..
They recommended that we didn't go to anfield, because it was matchday.. but with my family being huge fans of course i had to see the stadium.
We decided to head for cavern quarter first to find somewhere to eat and look at the streets where the beatles took their first steps. we saw the bestles shop, cavern club and this really cool bench before we went to this irish place and got something to eat, international as i am, i went for the chicken tikka, whilst trine did the english version and went for fish and chips.
